Atlantis Chronicles - Ten Miles Underwater [Release Date + Review + New Song] (2013)

Atlantis Chronicles is a Melodic / Progressive Death Metalheads from French (Paris). For me personally, this band is one of my favorites, because no bands like this, was my favorite since they released their first making of, their guitars are extremely melodic and progressive, with a mixture of notes that I am surprised at how they evolved from their early songs. (GREAT GUITAR SOLOS)

Hearing their new song that was released yesterday, I noticed that this band has a lot to say, we might not publish bands we recognized the very sophisticated, but what makes this project possible Spectral Blasphemy, is that bands actually published worthwhile. We are a group of Mexican friends and express may not know English well, but we do our best.

Members:

Antoine (Lead Vocals)
Alex (Guitar/Vocals)
Mike (Bass)
Jérôme (Guitar)
Sydney (Drums)

Atlantis Chronicles is a band that deserves our respect, to do a great job in his new album "Ten Miles Underwater" will have 12 songs very melodic and progressive.

The main theme of this band is "William Beebe" who was the first major undersea explorer. Then I leave a few words from "Coroner Records" (Their Records Label) about this album.

Arising from the heart of the earth, deep in the Atlantic Ocean ; ATLANTIS CHRONICLES explore the deep seas through their colorful, far-reaching brand of Death Metal. It is their very unique way to reveal the darkened abysses and lead the curious beyond the borders of the known world.
Formely known as "ABYSS", the band changed its name in 2010 for copyright reasons and at the same time added a new member as lead singer. They now dive ten miles under water, constantly seeking for strange creatures and forgotten myths. ATLANTIS CHRONICLES offer an immersion into the bottomless blue waters where the world is as ruthless as it is sublime.

Nonsuch Island, 1934.
William Beebe was the first major undersea explorer. He went down to a depth of 923m in a spherical submersible single-seater that he designed mostly on his own: the bathysphere.
"Ten Miles Underwater" is a concept album that blends reality and fiction to trace the descent of William Beebe into the unfathomable depths of the abyss. His downward spiral into darkness will bring him to meet the the fauna and flora, as frightening as they are fantastic, from within the confined space of the bathysphere. The high pressure and claustrophobia will cause him to lose his mental balance and will lead him to confuse reality and hallucinations. This album is a phantasmagorical dive where simple yet existential questions intermingle in the eyes and mind of a historical figure.

Seeing the "Making Of Ten Miles Underwater" was when I decided to get more interested in the band, and if you know what I mean, watch the video yourself and criticize the great work of this amazing band.

What surprised me most about this band is the guitar, I love how they make their guitar solos and riffs, something I never see in other progressive bands, on the other hand the voice is very brutal, very well leveled their voice volumes and well coordinated with other musical instruments, battery needless to say, personally I'm hearing the drums very fast and brutal "fastest double bass" scheduled, but this battery of "Sydney" drummer rhythms makes very clear and well coordinadados.

We can not wait any longer on this album, because the date will be the first album of the year, be sure for this.
